The NN\/LM PNR is once again accepting applications for Express Outreach Awards, and relationships (collaborations) are strongly encouraged as an effective means to increasing and improving use of health information.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Projects should be based on a thorough understanding of the needs and resources of a geographic area or underserved groups of health professionals and\/or consumers. Recently funded projects have included training and resource development for school health personnel, a radio-based health initiative for Spanish speakers, training for health and social service personnel in rural Eastern Oregon, and more! A complete list of funded projects, descriptions, and Final Reports of completed projects are on the NN\/LM PNR site. All network members in the Pacific Northwest Region are eligible to apply for Express Outreach Awards. Maximum funding for each project is $12,000. Applications must be submitted as an email attachment by Friday, November 14, 2008.
