Bloggers take turns hosting the carnival. I am happy to announce that on March 10, the <a title=\"medlibs round\" href=\"http:\/\/laikaspoetnik.wordpress.com\/2009\/01\/16\/the-medlib%E2%80%99s-round-faqs\/\">Medlib&#8217;s Round<\/a> blog carnival&#8211; a roundup of the month&#8217;s best posts from the field of medical librarianship&#8211; will be hosted here at Dragonfly.\u00a0 Keep reading to learn more and to find out how you can participate.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Medlib&#8217;s Round is the brainchild of <a title=\"Laika's blog\" href=\"http:\/\/laikaspoetnik.wordpress.com\/\">Laika Spoetnik<\/a>, a medical librarian and blogger in the Netherlands. Here&#8217;s how it works:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Laika, the organizer, has established the carnival at http:\/\/blogcarnival.com\/ and is maintaining schedule for where and when the carnival will be hosted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Each month, the host chooses a theme. This month our theme will be <strong>&#8220;Enhancing access to health information for health professionals and the public.&#8221;<\/strong> This also happens to be the goal of the U.S. <a title=\"nnlm\" href=\"http:\/\/nnlm.gov\/\">National Network of Libraries of Medicine<\/a>, and no, it&#8217;s not a coincidence!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Members of the community are invited to submit links to quality blog posts matching the theme. This is your invitation. To submit a link, use this form (preferred) or <a href=\"mailto:aldrich3@u.washington.edu\">email the host<\/a> before the deadline. The deadline for this month is <strong>March 8<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As your host, I will compile the submitted posts and present them to you with my commentary on March 10.
