NNLM is pleased to share the recording of the webinar, “Host or Facilitate Remote, Live-Streamed Citizen Science Events in a Pinch,” presented by our partners at SciStarter and Science Friday. You can find the recording, slides, and other resources for your online CitSciMonth\u00a0event in\u00a0this blog post.<\/a>\u00a0After viewing we are asking you to please complete\u00a0this survey<\/a>,\u00a0so we can evaluate the webinar.<\/p>\n

In addition, SciStarter is offering\u00a0their services, Zoom account, and promotional support (all at no cost) to anyone who needs help creating or modifying a virtual Citizen Science Month event in April.<\/p>\n

Here’s one idea to consider:\u00a0Host an online Storytime or Book Club Reading using the new book,\u00a0The Field Guide to Citizen Science<\/a>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>(available online and in print). This new book is written by the experts at SciStarter, and we can arrange to have one of the authors or editors participate in your online event for an author Meet-and-Greet. Together, we can select one of the 50 citizen science projects featured in the book and do a real-time demonstration with the viewers to engage them in a project!
