On behalf of the GMR, I\u2019m happy to introduce Nora Barnett, MSLIS, AHIP as our new Outreach Coordinator! Nora is joining the GMR remotely from Portland, OR where she will work for the full performance period (don\u2019t forget her Pacific Time Zone!). In Portland, Nora has most recently served as the head librarian at the Birthingway College of Midwifery, where she taught courses on Information Literacy and NLM resources, including LactMed, ToxNet, and PubMed.<\/p>\n

In addition to\u00a0her MSLIS from Florida State University, Nora has completed coursework in public health from Boston University\u2019s School for Public Health. Nora will focus most of her efforts working to engage the public health workforce. Nora can be reached at: <\/span>nora-barnett@uiowa.edu<\/a>.
