Offit, M.D.<\/p>\n<p>After acquiring the book in your preferred format, you can join us any time between February 1 until April 30, 2023 to participate.<\/p>\n<p>NNLM Book Discussion offers librarians, health professionals, and public health workers interested in better understanding health issues faced by people in the communities that they serve an opportunity to explore topics with other professionals and earn Continuing Education Credit.<\/p>\n<p>Participants can complete the book and earn CE credit on their schedule. A new book is selected each quarter. Participants can acquire the book in their performed format and have three months to complete the requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements to earn CE.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Complete the book in your preferred format<\/li>\n<li>Log into the Moodle<\/li>\n<li>Explore the related resources<\/li>\n<li>Do ONE of the following\n<ol>\n<li>Answer the required discussion question in Moodle<\/li>\n<li>Attend one of the two live discussion sessions and participate<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>It is not necessary to engage in Moodle discussions for all three months, although you are welcome to do so.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"views-field views-field-objectives-136\">\n<p><span class=\"views-label views-label-objectives-136\">Objectives:<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"field-content\">\n<ul>\n<li>To increase library staff awareness and understanding of health issues faced by individuals and communities<\/li>\n<li>Explore health resources from NLM, NIH, and other organizations related to the topic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nnlm.gov\/training\/class\/nnlm-book-discussion-feb-1-april-30-2023-bad-advice\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Register here<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Join your fellow librarians, health professionals, and public health workers for our fourth NNLM Book Discussion.
