Funding is up to $15,000 per award and application is open through March 31<sup>st<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nnlm.gov\/funding\/rfa\/health-information-outreach-award-2023-2024\">Health Information Outreach Award<\/a> is to improve health literacy and increase health equity through engagement and training for health information.\u00a0The award can be used to support:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Instructional design and training of evidence-based health resources and information for workforce development<\/li>\n<li>Public or consumer outreach and engagement for awareness, evaluation, use, and understanding of credible health information including\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/medlineplus.gov\/\">MedlinePlus<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/pubmed.gov\/\">PubMed<\/a>\u00a0but not limited to the National Institutes of Health and the National Library of Medicine resources<\/li>\n<li>Online health information access and digital literacy skills training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nnlm.gov\/funding\/rfa\/health-information-outreach-award-2023-2024\">Learn more and apply here<\/a>! They will talk about the grant and how they worked together to bring mental health resources to Cass County. They will also share how working on the grant together grew into a mutually beneficial relationship that continues more than a year later with outreach opportunities for the library and creative ideas to better serve the community.<\/p>\n<p><strong>February 9, 2023<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nnlm.gov\/training\/class\/nnlm-grants-and-proposal-writing\">NNLM Grants and Proposal Writing<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Designed for beginning grant proposal writers interested in NNLM funding, this class presents a general overview of grant and funding processes, as well as the level of detail required for a successful proposal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>March 22, 2023<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nnlm.gov\/training\/class\/nnlm-region-6-projects-multilingual-health-information-resources\"><u>NNLM Region 6 Projects &#8211; <\/u><u>Multilingual Health Information Resources<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This webinar will feature two NNLM Region 6 awardees who used funding to create multicultural and multilingual health information resources for their communities. TPT Now will discuss their project of creating a series of voice-over infographics in 4 languages (English, Spanish, Hmong, and Somali).
