Each state in Region 6 has a State Advisory Group (<span class=\"outlook-search-highlight\">SAG<\/span>). <span class=\"outlook-search-highlight\">SAG<\/span> Illinois members discussed health information needs in the State of Illinois and then used the <a title=\"https:\/\/ctb.ku.edu\/en\" href=\"https:\/\/ctb.ku.edu\/en\">Community Tool Box<\/a> to develop a plan of action to help guide outreach and engagement activities to address health disparities in Illinois. This is a special Illinois <span class=\"outlook-search-highlight\">SAG<\/span> award only for projects focused in the State of Illinois and proposed by an NNLM Member organization based in the State of Illinois.<\/p>\n<p>The<a title=\"https:\/\/www.nnlm.gov\/funding\/rfa\/sag-illinois-outreach-award\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nnlm.gov\/funding\/rfa\/sag-illinois-outreach-award\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0Illinois SAG Outreach Award<\/a>\u00a0is now open for applications.\u00a0<b>Funding is up to $10,000<\/b>. The Period of Performance is August 1, 2023 through April 30, 2024. <b>Application deadline is May 15, 2023.<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Please note:<\/strong>\u00a0This is a special Illinois SAG award only for projects focused in the State of Illinois and proposed by an NNLM Member organization based in the State of Illinois.
