The NNLM Substance Use Disorder Interest Group has sponsored a series of programming and resources in observance of National Recovery Month. There is one webinar left in the series:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">October 31, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nnlm.gov\/training\/class\/harm-reduction-action-language-harm-reduction\">Harm Reduction in Action: Language as Harm Reduction<\/a>: Webinar focuses on language as the first step to a positive interaction and the importance of person-centered language as a gateway into harm reduction practices and techniques and a way to build trust with people who use drugs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">NNLM&#8217;s<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nnlm.gov\/guides\/substance-use-disorders\"> Substance Use Disorder Guide<\/a> is a collection of trusted, high quality resources on substance abuse from the National Library of Medicine, other government agencies and non-profit groups. The guide is broken down by audience and includes specific resources for a general audience, libraries, educators, community-based organizations, public health, resources by age and population.
