We are pleased to share exciting news from the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) Region 6. After nearly a year of uncertainty about our program\u2019s future, we and our NNLM colleagues across the network are excited to share that we have secured additional funding through an administrative supplement <\/span><\/span>from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Library of Medicine (NLM). This support will enable us to continue our work through April 30, 2027.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During this extended funding period, Region 6 will remain committed to serving our members by offering training and outreach activities. While we will be operating with a reduced staff, we are dedicated to maintaining the quality and impact of our programs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As far as the future of the Region 6 program after April 30, 2027; w<\/span>e are still awaiting the release of the\u00a0Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO<\/span>)<\/span> that will permit us to apply for the next cooperative agreement; we anticipate this will be released in Fall 2026.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
