Have you been looking for a way to start conversations about health in your library? With the NNLM Reading Club materials, we have all the tools you need for your next book discussion. With over 30 health topics and 129 titles, you are sure to find something of interest for your patrons.
The NNLM Reading Club offers a selection of book titles along with corresponding free, ready-to-use, downloadable materials designed to help promote and facilitate a book club discussion on a health issue or topic. It’s easy to download the ready-to-use book club discussion materials and explore related health information. We even provide graphics and other media to promote your book discussion.

In addition to the NNLM Reading Club materials, designed to help you host a book discussion, NNLM also offers the NNLM Book Discussion which is for information professionals to attend. These are offered quarterly and allow a time for you to meet with other professionals around the country to discuss books of interest and earn MLA CE. Another great resource for NNLM member organizations in Region 7 (members from CT, MA, ME, NH, NY, RI, VT), we also have our graphic medicine book club kits. These are on a variety of topics and include 6 copies of the book, discussion guide and related health information. You can request a kit which circulate for 8 weeks at a time. While the kits only circulate in Region 7, information about the books and discussion guides are freely available on our website for download for anyone.
