National Preparedness Month

Posted by on September 3rd, 2024 Posted in: Blog

September is known as National Preparedness Month! It highlights the importance of being ready for emergencies and disasters. By encouraging individuals, families, and communities to take proactive steps in protecting themselves against unexpected events the month serves as a reminder that disasters can strike at any time.

By dedicating September to preparedness, National Preparedness Month serves as a powerful catalyst for action. It empowers individuals and communities to be proactive rather than reactive, ultimately reducing vulnerability and enhancing collective resilience in the face of emergencies.

NNLM is hosting a myriad of classes and sharing resources to help you stay prepared this September!
