[Announcement from the New England ADA Center]

Hope, Healing and the ADA: New Perceptions on Mental Health
In Recognition of the 26th Anniversary of the ADA,
Join us for Ice Cream and Discussion with Oryx Cohen
of the Empowerment Center and Co-Producer of “Healing Voices”

Tuesday, August 9, 2016
200 Portland St. Boston, MA 02114
2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

26 years after the passage of the ADA it is clear that people with mental health and substance use issues are still far from a central concern in considering who has rights and who has responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act. It might be the right time and place to revitalize attention to integrating people with mental health and substance use conditions into the promise of the ADA

Free and open to the public.

View the Healing Voices movie trailer.

RSVP to Stacy Hart, New England ADA Center, at 800-949-4232 or shart@IHCDesign.org.

Please submit accommodation requests by Thursday, August 4th.
