Social Media Update: R7 on LinkedIn

Region 7 is excited to announce that our social media is on the move! We’ve evaluated our audiences and the balance of the time commitment vs. engagement of our current social media plan and decided to make some changes.

R7 is now on LinkedIn with a focus on professional development including classes, funding, and networking opportunities. And since we’re new to LinkedIn, we’d appreciate you sharing our page with your network.

R7 is also on Facebook and we’re using this social media shake up to rethink how we use it. We’ll be posting similar updates to LinkedIn but since more partner organizations are on Facebook, we’ll also be sharing partner updates and projects.

This evaluation and addition of LinkedIn means we’ll be moving away from Twitter with the plan to close the account in July.
