{"id":14319,"date":"2018-04-24T12:31:02","date_gmt":"2018-04-24T12:31:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.nnlm.gov\/ner\/?p=14319"},"modified":"2019-01-29T12:59:26","modified_gmt":"2019-01-29T12:59:26","slug":"all-of-us-research-program-ready-to-launch-nationally-on-may-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.nnlm.gov\/region_7\/2018\/04\/24\/all-of-us-research-program-ready-to-launch-nationally-on-may-6\/","title":{"rendered":"All of Us Research Program \u2013 Ready to Launch Nationally on May 6"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The National Network of Libraries of Medicine is excited to announce the <em>All of Us<\/em> Research Program official launch on <strong>Sunday, May 6, 2018<\/strong>.\u00a0 This national event will be held in seven communities throughout the United States and will be broadcast \u00a0and on Facebook Live.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>All of Us<\/em> Research Program is a historic effort to gather data from one million or more people living in the United States to accelerate research and improve health. The programs goals are to develop a more effective way to treat diseases and to provide individualized healthcare.\u00a0 It considers individual differences in lifestyle, environment and biology.\u00a0 This research program is a key element of the NIH Precision Medicine Initiative.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joinallofus.org\/en\">Additional information about this Program is available through the <em>All of Us<\/em> Research Program website<\/a>.
