Most NNLM webinars have some CE available.<\/p>\n<p>Some NNLM classes are designed to fulfill requirements for certificate and specialization programs. \u00a0You can search the course catalogue to find classes that offer these specialization credits.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/national\/guides\/obtain-specialization\/consumer-health-information-specialization\">Certified Health Information Specialist (CHIS)<\/a>: CHIS courses offer training in providing health information services to consumers and recognition of acquiring new health information skills.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/disasterinfo.nlm.nih.gov\/training\">Disaster Information Specialist (DIS)<\/a>: DIS offers training in providing access to information for disaster and emergency preparedness, response and recovery.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/national\/guides\/obtain-specialization\/certified-health-education-specialist\">Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)<\/a>: CHES is a certification for individuals with a bachelor\u2019s, master\u2019s or doctoral degree in health education or significant coursework in the field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s coming up in August from NNLM NER?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/class\/graphic-public-health-comics-health-literacy-health-promotion-and-advocacy\/14535\">Graphic Public Health: Comics for Health Literacy, Health Promotion, and Advocacy<\/a>: Wednesday, August 7, join Meredith Li-Vollmer, Communication Specialist from Public Health-Seattle &amp; King County, to learn about their public health graphic medicine outreach.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/class\/improving-health-safety-and-well-being-lgbtq-populations\/14188\">Improving the Health, Safety, and Well-being of LGBTQ+ Populations<\/a>: Thursday, August 22, join NNLM NER Outreach and Education Coordinator Margot Malachowski to learn about the health needs and resources available to support LGBTQ+ patrons and community members.
