Courtesy of the National Library of Medicine.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Whether it\u2019s a snow day, summer vacation or kids are home sick, having educational materials ready can help keep the whole family busy.\u00a0 Below are science and health resources to engage kids and help them continue to learn even when they\u2019re not in the classroom.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NNLM Middle Atlantic Region has <a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/mar\/guides\/k12-resources\">curated resources for K-12 students<\/a> with topics ranging from genetics to environmental health to careers.<\/li>\n<li>Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/medlineplus.gov\/childrenspage.html\">MedlinePlus Children\u2019s Page<\/a> to find links to kid friendly resources from the CDC, NIH and other trusted resources. Links also include online games.<\/li>\n<li>Did you know that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nlm.nih.gov\/hmd\/about\/exhibition\/education-resources-all.html\">NLM History of Medicine Exhibition Program<\/a> has lesson plans for K-12 and college students for their traveling exhibits?
