Some are familiar with other resources like ClinicalTrails. But do you know about <a href=\"https:\/\/pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/\">PubChem<\/a>?<\/p>\n<h2>What is PubChem?<\/h2>\n<p>From the website:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPubChem is the world&#8217;s largest collection of freely accessible chemical information. Search chemicals by name, molecular formula, structure, and other identifiers. Find chemical and physical properties, biological activities, safety and toxicity information, patents, literature citations and more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>PubChem is a great resource for scientists, teachers, students and the general public.<\/p>\n<h2>What can you find on PubChem?<\/h2>\n<p>When you search PubChem you get results for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Substances<\/strong> such as chemical structures, synonyms, IDs, descriptions and more. Substance summaries include information about who provided what.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Compounds<\/strong>: Aggregated information about chemicals that have the same structure<\/li>\n<li><strong>BioAssays<\/strong>: Information on biological assay experiments and bioactivity test results<\/li>\n<li><strong>Genes and Proteins<\/strong> records include chemical information including bioactivity data.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pathways<\/strong>: Information about chemicals, genes or diseases involved in or associated with a biological pathway.
