With the NNLM Reading Club materials, we have all the tools you need for your next book discussion. We even provide graphics and other media to promote your book discussion.<\/p>\n<p>Each month, a small and dedicated team collaborates to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>identify three books around a health topic following our selection criteria,<\/li>\n<li>curate health information resources related to the health topic,<\/li>\n<li>and develop promotional materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A few of the many topics we have covered are: Autoimmune Disease, Addiction and Recovery, Caregivers and Caregiving and so many more!!<\/p>\n<p>Want to learn more about the history of the NNLM Reading Club or our selection criteria? These are offered quarterly and allow a time for you to meet with other professionals around the country to discuss books of interest and earn MLA CE. These are on a variety of topics and include 6 copies of the book, discussion guide and related health information. You can <a href=\"https:\/\/libraryguides.umassmed.edu\/ill\/rmlbookkits\">request a kit<\/a> which circulate for 8 weeks at a time. While the kits only circulate in Region 7, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nnlm.gov\/guides\/region-7-graphic-medicine-0\">information about the books and discussion guides<\/a> are freely available on our website for download for anyone.<\/p>\n<p>We hope these resources will support health discussions and health literacy in your community.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Have you been looking for a way to start conversations about health in your library?
