All<\/strong>\u00a0women in the United States die from giving birth at a higher rate than any other developed nation.\u00a0Black women are\u00a0more than three times\u00a0as likely to die from pregnancy-related complications as white women, regardless of their income or education.<\/p>\n These statistics underscore the significance of Black Maternal Health Week.
