Hospital librarians are encouraged to share their experiences as in-person or virtual attendees. Library staff who did not attend MLA in Pittsburg are welcome to come hear about the conference.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking through this year&#8217;s sessions to identify topics that are applicable for solo hospital librarians.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a sample of sessions that we will discuss:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Improving Patient Care While Telling Your Story<\/li>\n<li>MyChart: Leveraging Libraries as Partners in Patient Portal Access<\/li>\n<li>Building and Maintaining an Emergency Print Reference Collection in a Hospital Library<\/li>\n<li>Restoring History: Launching a Collaborative Adopt-a-Book Program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And other sessions about outreach to nursing and pharmacy staff.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"views-label views-label-objectives-136\">Objectives:<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"field-content\">\n<ul>\n<li>Opportunity to exchange knowledge for career development.<\/li>\n<li>Discuss issues pertaining to information management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>The session will be recorded.
