Check out what&#8217;s coming up in July with this sneak peek.<\/p>\n<h2>Classes<\/h2>\n<p>Region 7 is proud to be teaching two classes in July focused on rural health and older adult health.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nnlm.gov\/training\/class\/rural-health-resources-5\">Rural Health Resources<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><strong>WHEN: <\/strong>July 8, 1-2pm ET<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT: <\/strong>This webinar describes hallmarks of rural America, identify access challenges of living in rural communities, and equip participants with tools to service the health information needs of those living in rural communities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>OBJECTIVES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Describe current demographic trends in rural America.<\/li>\n<li>Explore data sets and visualizations from rural health resources.<\/li>\n<li>Locate information on health conditions, demographic groups and social issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nnlm.gov\/training\/class\/connecting-older-adults-health-information-1\">Connecting Older Adults to Health Information<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><strong>WHEN: <\/strong>July 29, noon-1:30pm ET<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT: <\/strong>This 90-minute webinar covers websites and data sources to help you respond to requests for health information from and about older adults, as well as covering programming ideas to address the health information needs of older adults.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>OBJECTIVES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluate older adult population data at the local, state and national level.<\/li>\n<li>Identify health information resources to meet the information needs of older adults.<\/li>\n<li>Develop ideas for library and health education programming that address the health information needs of older adults.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Looking for something else?
