The National Library of Medicine (NLM) has a new contest to recognize original short videos, which promote awareness of NLM’s information resources. This contest supports the mission of NLM by publicizing the availability of its products and services. Whether information from the NLM helped in research, new discoveries, clinical treatment, family health, patient care, or a school project, we will want to hear about it!
The National Library of Medicine marks its 175th anniversary this year. NLM started in 1836 as a few books in the Office of the Surgeon General of the Army. Today part of NIH, NLM is the world’s largest medical library and the developer of electronic information services, delivering trillions of bytes of data daily to millions of people around the world.
