Carolyn Klatt is currently working as a Reference and Electronic Resources Librarian at the Health Sciences Library in Savannah Georgia that serves both the Mercer University School of Medicine and the Memorial University Medical Center. She has been licensing electronic resources for libraries for over 20 years and is an avid app user as well. She has taught classes and created web apps about mobile medical resources for physicians, nurses, residents, and medical school students, as well as publishing an article about hospital libraries “Going Mobile” in the Medical Reference Services Quarterly.
Kim Meeks is the Systems Librarian at the Mercer School of Medicine Library, Macon campus. She is currently the Chair of the Information Technology Advisory Committee for the School of Medicine. She is also the Chair of the Committee on Library and Learning Resources (CLLR). Kim, Carolyn Klatt, and others on the CLLR recently wrote a white paper on Technology Trends in Medicine. Kim and Carolyn also co-authored a poster on “Mobile Evidence Based Medicine,” and presented it at the Southern Chapter of the Medical Library Association meeting in 2011.
