Happy New Year!
As we kick off a new year, the NNLM/SEA staff is excited to share what we are looking forward to in 2019:
Offering webinars that support health information and broaden professional development.
From data science, evidence-based practice, graphic medicine, NNLM funding, and STEAM education, we strive to present topics in 2019 that are timely and relevant for the communities in our region.
2019 marks the launch of DOCLINE 6.0. Join us on Wednesday, January 30 as NDCO coordinator Erin Latta provides an overview of the redesigned DOCLINE system.
Exhibiting at conferences across the region.
Our staff is looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new members in 2019 as we travel to conferences for State Library Associations – including Alabama and Maryland – the Citizen Science Association, and more!
Developing, updating, and teaching courses for SEA members.
We look forward to providing targeted educational opportunities to community colleges, nurses, public librarians, consumer health specialists, hospital librarians, and beyond!
Supporting the next generation of librarians.
In 2019, we look forward to creating content and programing designed specifically for library students and schools that provides an overview of health sciences librarianship and inspires a diverse new generation to join our profession.
Strengthening the NNLM and All of Us Research Program partnership.
From new library partners to the Journey Exhibit visiting our region, we are excited to support the advancement of precision medicine and see how the All of Us partnership continues to evolve in 2019.
Most importantly, we are excited about YOU!
As we explore new parts of the region and return to old favorites, all of the NNLM/SEA staff are excited to support our members, their institutions, and provide outreach to our communities.
We wish everyone a happy and healthy 2019 and look forward to helping all our members achieve their goals.
