We are excited to announce an updated version of our Grants and Proposal Writing On Demand course! The updates went live in Moodle on Monday, September 30.
The course content has been overhauled to make it more current, relevant, and useful to as many grant-seekers as possible. In particular, it now includes material about grants for projects with intended audiences of marginalized or vulnerable populations.
The lessons are interspersed with questions and brainstorming activities that allow you to reinforce and apply what you are learning. The course includes five short assignments, a mix of discussions with classmates and practice with certain aspects of planning a project and writing a grant proposal to fund it.
The course is also reorganized for easier use as a guide for the process of applying for grants. We hope this will make it a useful reference after you have completed the class itself. The class is organized into four sections: Envisioning Your Grant Project, Choosing a Funding Source, Preparing to Write a Proposal, and Writing the Proposal.
As before, the course is self-paced. You can enroll at any time and work on it whenever you like. Check out the course page for further information.
