Congratulations to Adelia Grabowsky and Lauren Read!

Posted by on May 14th, 2020 Posted in: All Posts

During the month of April, members had two opportunities to engage with NNLM SEA and enter to win free conference registration.

Lauren Read, from the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore, MD, won the drawing from the 2020 Planning and Assessment questionnaire. We circulated a survey to collect feedback and suggestions, and people who completed the survey had the option to provide their name and enter the drawing. Lauren was one of the over 400 SEA members who provided feedback on SEA programs, and one of over 200 to enter the drawing.

Adelia Grabowsky, from Auburn University in Auburn, AL, won the National Poetry Month Book Spine Poetry drawing. She was one of 23 members who submitted a health-themed poem composed entirely of book titles. Poems submitted throughout the month covered a wide variety of topics, including vaccinations, support for healthcare workers, mental health, sleeping smarter, public health, healthy eating, and staying safe during the pandemic. You can browse through all the great submissions from the Book Spine Poetry Contest here.

Congratulations to Lauren and Adelia, and thank you to everyone who submitted feedback on SEA programs or helped us celebrate National Poetry Month!
