NLM has been busy updating training resources for the new PubMed. Here are a few new or updated resources:

  • The New PubMed: Trainers’ Toolkit: includes handouts, slide decks, and video tutorials
  • How PubMed Works: a 4-part webinar series, beginning on Wednesday, March 11. Introduces PubMed, Selection, Medical Subject Headings (MeSH), and Automatic Term Mapping (ATM). Register for all or pick and choose.
  • Recent updates to the new PubMed include: the ability to customize the number of items per page, persistent display preferences, similar articles, and the ability to download a results by year timeline

To read more about the development process, read Bart Trawick’s (NCBI) recent blog post and the article “Thanks for your Feedback on the New PubMed” in the NLM Technical Bulletin.
