Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) Region 1 and NNLM Training Office are excited to announce theĀ Association for Rural & Small Libraries (ARSL) Conference Professional Development Award! Funding will cover registration and travel expenses up to $1500 per awardee. The conference will take place September 16-19, 2026 in Montgomery, AL. Participants will attend a pre-conference training focused on consumer health information, called “Healthy Roots, Strong Communities: Health Information Resources and Programming.”
Application Deadline: June 15, 2026, 11:59 pm Eastern
Number of Awards: Up to 20
Amount: Up to $1500 per awardee
Eligibility: This award is open to library staff across the United States. Preference is given to those in rural and small libraries and those who have not received this award in the past. Please review theĀ definitions of small and rural. Applicants must be affiliated with an NNLM member organization.
