Job Posting: National Consumer Health Program Specialist

The Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library (EHSL), University of Utah invites applications for a full-time, career-line faculty librarian at the Assistant or Associate Librarian rank. This position in the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM.gov) Training Office will impact health outcomes by improving access to public health information and health literacy at the community level through a nationwide program. As the National Consumer Health Program Specialist, you will teach existing Consumer Health Information Specialization (CHIS) NNLM classes online, develop new classes, design a train-the-trainer program for non-NNLM trainers to deliver CHIS classes, and participate in program evaluation development and reporting.  Remote and hybrid employment arrangements are allowed. Some domestic travel required. This position is funded under a cooperative agreement with the National Library of Medicine through April 2026. Minimum starting salary: $60,000.
