Call for Requests to Host NLM Traveling Exhibits

The Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) will open the next Call for Requests for NLM Traveling Exhibitions today, October 17, 2023. You may request two new titles with booking dates from April 2024 to August 2025:

• Promising Future, Complex Past: Artificial Intelligence and the Legacy of Physiognomy
• “Take two and call me in the morning.”: The Story of Aspirin Revisited

Please visit NNLM Traveling Exhibitions to find the list of available traveling exhibitions, along with the following details about the upcoming Call for Requests:

When: 2 pm (ET) October 17 at 2 pm (ET) to October 31, 2023, at 2 pm
During the Call for Requests, use an online Request Form to submit your requests. Please watch for the listserv post on October 17 which will provide more details and a link to the Request Form.

How: Online submission and Lottery selected bookings
The online Request Form accepts submissions only during the period when the Call is open. Afterwards, a lottery is used to select bookings from all requests received during that time. Until the online Request Form opens on October 17, you can use this PDF of the online form to plan your requests.
