New episodes of NNLM Discovery will be released every other week starting this October. This fall and winter, our regions will share stories that feature unique grant recipients helping communicate health information in new ways for the purpose of improving the public’s health.

In last season’s episode, The Moby Bookmobile: A Story from Region 4, we interviewed Robin Levin, a librarian at Wyoming’s Fort Washakie School Community Library. Robin took health information on the road in the form of a bookmobile traveling the Wind River Reservation delivering culturally relevant books. This project started when the Covid pandemic shut down Fort Washakie School and its Community Library.

Do you have a project that needs funding? You should contact us! NNLM offers many funding opportunities for projects to help improve your community’s access to health information. To search for available grants, visit our funding page.
