It’s a wonderful feeling to be writing another Director’s Insights entry for Region 5! The past few months have brought their share of challenges for both our team and the Network, but we’re energized and ready to continue this important work alongside our members and partners across the region.

As we reinstate our program, here’s what you can expect from us in the coming months:

  • The return of our popular Weekly Digest, where you’ll find updates on Region 5 activities, upcoming webinars, trainings, and highlights from the NNLM and our partners – locally and nationwide.
  • Continued learning and engagement from the Region 5 staff, who will be participating in NNLM trainings and professional development opportunities. Be sure to check out our calendar of events to see what’s coming up!
  • Stories of impact – we’ll be sharing how Region 5 programs have made a difference since 2021. Stay tuned to our communication channels to learn more about the long-term impact of our funding, outreach, and training efforts over the past five years.
  • New funding opportunities will soon become available to support outreach initiatives and the professional development of our Network members. Stay tuned!

And of course – we want to hear from you! Share your ideas, feedback, or questions by visiting the digital suggestion box on the Region 5 homepage. Your input helps shape our work.
