Tweet with us for National Medical Librarians Month

Posted by on October 8th, 2010 Posted in: News from NLM

October is National Medical Librarians Month, a time to promote and celebrate the important work of health information professionals. Here at NN/LM PNR, we’re using Twitter to spread the word about the value of health information professionals, especially those here in our own region.

Every day in October, we’ll highlight at least one project using the Twitter hashtag #medlibmonth.  For example:

a Tweet about National Medical Librarians Month

Using the hashtag ensures that all of the Medical Librarians Month tweets will be retrieved together in a search, or simply by clicking on the tag. Here are the #medlibmonth tweets for October 1 – 8. Even if you’re not a Twitter user, be sure to check it out. You may have already been Tweeted!

If you are a Twitter user, we hope you will join us in this endeavor by tweeting about relevant projects and using the #medlibmonth hashtag. Think about projects that would attract the attention of community leaders and potential patrons. Let’s see how far our tweets can take us.
