University of Washington iSchool students (and now graduates), Lauren Califano and Shanti Rahim, worked with us to create a library toolkit for the Network of the National Library of Medicine with prenatal to postpartum health information resources. The toolkit is now available and can be downloaded and customized to meet the needs of birthing persons in your communities.

The toolkit is listed in the NNLM Public Libraries Guide in the section of Tools and Printed Materials.

The Birthing Persons Toolkit includes:

  • An introduction to the toolkit
  • A patron handout of resources
  • A library staff list of resources
  • A graphic for handouts and social media
  • Social media suggested text
  • Suggested hashtags

The information in this toolkit is not comprehensive and know that links can change. Please notify us if you find links that no longer work and we will consider your feedback. Email us at nnlm@uw.edu
