The webinar will be facilitated by Dan Wilson, Coordinator, NN/LM Disaster Ready Initiative. Dan, who is also the Associate Director for Collections & Library Services, has been helping libraries prepare for disasters since 2007. He combines his hands-on experience with the knowledge he has gained working with librarians and emergency planners across the nation.

Learning Objectives:

  • Determine your current preparedness level.
  • Awareness of value of emergency planners.
  • Value of risk assessment.
  • Analysis of operational impacts from an interruption or disruption.
  • Ways to protect the safety of your employees and patrons.
  • How to build a culture of preparedness in the workplace and at home.

Two helpful checklists will help you prepare for this event:  Disaster Readiness Checklist  &  Partnership Opportunities Checklist

The PNR looks forward to helping you get prepared.
