Join our January Symposium for Health Outreach Inspiration

Posted by on December 29th, 2023 Posted in: Funding, News from NNLM, Public Libraries

Are you curious about partnering with the NNLM to bring your health outreach idea to life but don’t know where to begin? Join us January 24-26, 2024 for a free virtual symposium that will highlight successful past funded NNLM projects, feature grant writing advice, and offer ideas on how to partner with NNLM to turn your project into reality! Region 5 will host a panel of public library leaders on Thursday, January 25 from 1:45 – 2:45 PT to discuss Collection Equity Awards in Public Libraries. Region 5 currently has open funding opportunities, and we hope the symposium offers you inspiration for your own health outreach efforts! Read on for a quick overview of how to register, participate, and provide feedback to this national event.

Register

  • The 2024 NNLM Showcase Symposium features several sessions over three days in a virtual meeting platform (vFairs).
  • Participants must register for the full symposium to access individual sessions when the symposium goes live in the vFairs platform.
  • You can view the full agenda and add the session(s) you’re interested in to your calendar at any time.

Participate

  • Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email from the sender “NNLM Showcase” (<noreply@vfairs.com>) with further instructions on how to log-in to the vFairs platform when the symposium is live. Be sure to check your spam folder if this doesn’t hit your inbox!
  • We’ve also provided a detailed list of Frequently Asked Questions to help you make the most of your participation.

Share Feedback

  • The symposium offers MLA continuing education (CE) credits. Symposium attendees will receive one evaluation form via email when the full symposium is complete. The evaluation form will include steps for claiming MLA CE credits.

We hope to see you there!
