A new year and a new look for MedlinePlus. We all like to make some changes in our lives and changes for the better. Both MedlinePlus in English and MedlinePlus En Español have also made some changes to their homepages. These changes include:

• Addition of a “Welcome to MedlinePlus” feature that follows U.S. Health and Human Services recommendations for homepages to “clearly and prominently communicate the purpose and value of the web site on the homepage.”
• Removal of discontinued links and outdated features
• Rearrangement of icons linking to content to improve navigation and reduce clutter

We encourage you to visit the refreshed homepages and take a moment to reacquaint yourself with the content of MedlinePlus.
