Posted by on August 31st, 2010 Posted in: Technology, Training & Education

[Update 9/3/10:  The class is now full. Please contact Nikki if you would like to be placed on a waiting list for this or future sessions.]

Alison and Nikki are hard at work putting the finishing touches on a new distance education class, Quite the Production: Getting Started with Podcasts, Screencasts, and Video. We first told you about this class on August 9, and guess what? There are still spaces available!

This free class will provide an introduction to using web-based multimedia broadcast channels for outreach and education. Participants will learn about the basic technology involved and how to develop good content along with tips on effective vocal delivery of your message. By the end of the course participants will develop, record, edit and upload a basic podcast, screencast, and/or video.
