Rural Health Day is November 18, 2021! Evidence shows that there are marked health disparities between those living in rural areas versus their urban counterparts. Check out these events and resources:

Resources

Rural Health Information Hub
Includes funding opportunities, state guides, rural health data visualizations, rural project examples, an online library, evidence-based toolkits, and information on rural health disparities.

Medline Plus: Rural Health Concerns
Includes a summary of rural health concerns, and links to journal articles, prevention toolkits, and related issues.

CDC Rural Health
Includes an A-Z list of health topics impacting rural Americans, The Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) Rural Health Series, and success stories featuring successful interventions.

Atlas of Rural and Small-Town America
The Atlas of Rural and Small-Town America provides statistics by broad categories of socioeconomic factors. View county-level maps for socioeconomic indicators or or zoom into specific regions, States, or county areas.

Federal Office of Rural Health Policy
