When was the last time you accessed the Region 6 web site? If you haven’t done so in a while, we have some exciting news! Our homepage has been given a facelift! If you have been to the Region 6 homepage, we want to make sure that you found the information you need. Read on to learn more about the streamlined home page and other updates.
Our Photo Banner
Although the city and farm scenes represent our region from skyscrapers to corn silos, we thought seeing what we do through pictures might be more informative and more accurate. Check out the photos showing people engaged in health-related activities.
Revised Keep in Touch Section:
During one of the focus groups held by Region 6, some participants indicated that it was difficult to find out how to contact us. Granted, the pandemic sent us all to work from home, and our office space shrunk dramatically. The Region 6 office became virtual. Yes, we still have a contact phone number, but it is best to use other ways to Keep in Touch, as you can see the red circled area on the blue information banner. Keep in Touch takes you to the staff directory, ways to find contact information, and how to sign up for the latest Region 6 news.
Region 6 Priorities & Resources:
This four-bubble banner outlines some of the top priorities for NNLM Region 6 in Year 3 of our grant with NLM. The first three are our current priorities: Funding, Training, and Partnerships. The fourth links to resources developed by and for Region 6, such as the Community Guide to Advance Health Information Equity, Health Information Translations, and Multilingual Health Broadcast & Social Media Graphics, but these may be useful throughout NNLM.
We hope this new homepage will make it easier to find information you need and make it possible for us to keep you abreast of the latest NNLM news, Region 6 initiatives, and ways to keep in touch. Let us know what you think.
