NNLM Reading Club February: Aging

Do you think of love and romance in February? The NNLM Reading Club Advisory Group does. So what better time to reflect on aging and intimacy. Do you know that persons over the age of 65 are the fastest growing population. It is predicted that 1 in every 5 persons in the United States will be 65 years or older by 2030.

Staying active and social, and scheduling regular medical visits, are vital to healthy aging. A good sex life is important, too. Yet, some adults do not know How to Talk with Your Doctor About Sensitive Issues.

Let the NNLM Reading Club help get the conversation started. This month the Advisory Group has selected three books to help us ask questions about our bodies and our sexuality as we age. Discussion guides and trustworthy resources to read and share can be found at Aging | NNLM.
