NER and NPHCO Staff Update: New Communications and Technology Coordinator

Hi everyone,

Here in Worcester, Javier and I are happy to announce the start of our new Technology and Communications Coordinator for NNLM NER and NPCHO, Allison Herrera.

Allison Herrera is originally from Laredo, Texas and has spent the last few years in Tucson, Arizona. She received her BFA in Visual Culture Education with Honors in 2015 and Masters in Library and Information Sciences from the University of Arizona where she was a Knowledge River Scholar. Allison previously worked for the University of Arizona Health Sciences Library as a Graduate Research Assistant where she developed and updated library and community health outreach websites, provided public health information support, and co-led a user experience team. Allison also has a background in computer science, which includes multiple computer programming languages and website development.
