Book Discussion on Being Mortal

book displayed You are invited to join us for the NNLM Book Discussion. From November 1, 2024 – January 31, 2025, we will discussĀ BeingĀ Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End by Atul Gawande. We selected this book to explore interprofessional teams in palliative care. We are curious to hear how you work with healthcare professionals, university faculty, or patients and their families. If you are not already doing this work, how do you hope to support palliative care?

After acquiring the book in your preferred format, you can join us any time between November 1, 2024 – January 31, 2025 to participate.

Live Discussions:

  • Friday, December 6 at 1:00pm ET
  • Thursday, January 23 at 3:00pm ET

Requirements to earn CE.

  • Complete the book in your preferred format.
  • Log into the Moodle.
  • Explore the related resources.
  • Do ONE of the following: Answer the required discussion question in Moodle -or- Attend one of the two live discussion sessions and participate.

It is not necessary to engage in Moodle discussions for all three months, although you are welcome to do so. I hope you will join us.
