A New Funding Opportunity for NNLM members in Illinois!

NNLM Region 6 is pleased to announce a new funding opportunity, the Illinois SAG Outreach Award. Each state in Region 6 has a State Advisory Group (SAG). SAG Illinois members discussed health information needs in the State of Illinois and then used the Community Tool Box to develop a plan of action to help guide outreach and engagement activities to address health disparities in Illinois. This is a special Illinois SAG award only for projects focused in the State of Illinois and proposed by an NNLM Member organization based in the State of Illinois.

The Illinois SAG Outreach Award is now open for applications. Funding is up to $10,000. The Period of Performance is August 1, 2023 through April 30, 2024. Application deadline is May 15, 2023.

ABOUT Jacqueline Leskovec
Jacqueline Leskovec, MLIS, MA, RN (she/her) is the Network Coordinator for NNLM Region 6. She is the lead for the Partner Outreach Program (POP), Network membership and user accounts, the Data Reporting System (DRS), and the Region 6 website. She has been with the Network since 2005. In addition to being a health sciences librarian, Jacqueline maintains her license as a registered nurse. She works from her home office in Chicago. She is well acquainted with power tools and will be happy to bore you with details of her many home repair and remodel adventures.
