Posted by on October 27th, 2025 Posted in: Blog

Join us for a three-part webinar series exploring innovative strategies to improve rural cancer care, spotlighting the Iowa Cancer Affiliate Network (I-CAN). Session 1 examines the challenges health professionals face in delivering high-quality cancer care in rural settings and introduces I-CAN’s collaborative, scalable model for expanding access to oncology expertise and strengthening evidence-based care. Session 2 highlights distance-based exercise programs designed to reduce supportive care disparities for rural cancer survivors. Session 3 offers a provider’s perspective on building and sustaining high-quality cancer programs in resource-limited settings. Together, these sessions share practical approaches to enhancing cancer care and survivorship in rural communities.

Designed with health professionals in mind, the webinars in the series offer Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and Certified Nursing Education (CNE) credit. Registration and more information.
