NNLM and NTO are excited to announce the
Association for Rural & Small Libraries (ARSL) Conference Professional Development Award! Funding will cover registration and travel expenses up to $1500 per awardee. The conference will take place September 16-19, 2026 in Montgomery, AL. Participants will attend a pre-conference training focused on consumer health information, called “Healthy Roots, Strong Communities: Health Information Resources and Programming.”
- Application Deadline: June 15, 2026, 11:59 pm Eastern
- Number of Awards: Up to 20
- Amount: Up to $1500 per awardee
- Eligibility: This award is open to library staff across the United States. Preference is given to those in rural and small libraries and those who have not received this award in the past. Please review the definitions of small and rural. Applicants must be affiliated with an NNLM member organization.
