Ready to use ClinicalTrials.gov? Join us on Thu, Aug 17 for an overview and practice session using the newly released modernized website. ClinicalTrials.gov is the openly available federal registry and results database. The database contains records of publicly and privately funded clinical studies conducted in the United States and around the world.
ClinicalTrials.gov is a vital resource for researchers, healthcare providers, and health sciences librarians who wish to consult the entire body of evidence on any particular topic. Learn how health sciences librarians can advocate to clinical researchers the importance of complying with the results submission requirements that are mandated by federal law.
Objectives:
The modernized website has an updated design with improved navigation. ClinicalTrials.gov is now optimized for mobile devices. Plain language makes the content easier to understand. The default search fields are organized based on user feedback. The Location field is integrated with a map-based API.
The August webinar includes a popular “hands on” component. We will give you a sample researcher question to practice your skills. And we will provide a handout for future reference. This webinar will be recorded. Registration link.
