The Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) will be showcasing funded projects sponsored by its Regions, Offices and Centers during a virtual symposium scheduled to take place on Jan. 24th, 25th and 26th. Highlighted projects will cover Building Community Partnership and Trust, Telehealth Services and Social Innovation in Public Libraries, Multilingual Health Resources and Developing a Patient Education Module. The featured projects will share knowledge and expertise from the NNLM, community partners, NNLM award recipients, and others.
When: January 24th, 25th, 26th from 1:00 pm to 5:45 pm each day. Webinars will be scheduled during this time frame. Attendees can choose to attend the webinars that interest them or the whole symposium.
Who should attend: Health professionals, students, professional librarians of all types, community members, and anyone interested in how they can be engaged with health information resources.
The event is intended to help:
• Increase capacity to apply for grants to enhance engagement
• Identify and adapt projects to meet the needs of community members
• Demonstrate the value of the NNLM and its resources
In the Auditorium
All sessions will be conducted live with presenters available to answer as many questions as possible within the time allotted following their presentations. A live Chat feature allows you to also share information with peers during the sessions!
