East Carolina University Laupus Health Sciences Library presents “Those who feed us” webinar series

Each PHDL Program member has an assigned partner library to support article delivery for materials not in our digital collection.  East Carolina University Laupus Health Sciences Library supports PHDL member, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health.  This upcoming series may be of interest to anyone in the PHDL or in public health at large working in food justice and/or environmental justice as well as health literacy and digital disparities.  Next week will be the first in a set of three events that share findings and outcomes of work that has been supported with funding from the National Library Medicine as well as the NNLM.

The Laupus Health Sciences Library Diversity Committee, NC Farmworker Health Program, ECU College of Health and Human Performance, Student Action with Farmworkers, and the NC State Agromedicine Extension present: “Those who Feed Us: Migrant Farmworkers, Health Disparities, and Digital Inclusion for Better Health”.

Event Details

• Keynote address on October 20.
• Film screening and discussion on October 27; “Where does our food come from?”  with the Student Action with Farm Workers.
• Panel discussion final on November 3.
