The Public Health Digital Library journal collection has grown with the addition of two journal collections: CINAHL Complete and Wiley Online’s full titles.
CINAHL is the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature. The CINAHL Complete database offers many full-text peer-reviewed titles in areas relevant to Public health.
American Journal of Public Health is now solely available through CINAHL.
CINAHL Complete is available through the EBSCOhost platform. Your full-text content will appear differently than other journal content.
CINAHL Complete makes available access to 708 current journals and magazines; 443 current journals are peer-reviewed with no embargo. The CINAHL database is a searchable index that includes non-full-text and full-text titles.
The PHDL includes 37 titles from CINAHL which can be found using the A to Z search tool: a link to see CINAHL titles in the PHDL
is available on the right margin of the digital library page. The 37 titles were selected for their relevance to public health and for their availability of full-text, non-embargoed articles.
There is also a link to CINAHL Complete database within EBSCOhost where you can do subject searching or browse through other titles. Not all journals in CINAHL Complete will have full-text content.

PHDL users now have access to Wiley’s Full collection of full-text journals. Thanks to deeply discounted pricing, the collection of peer-reviewed journals from Wiley has increased from close to 40 to over 1,300.
The PHDL Directly links to 300+ Wiley journals; 260 more journals than previously available through Wiley. These can be found browsing through the A to Z list, or go to the link on the PHDL’s Wiley toolbox where you can click on the link, See Wiley journal titles in the PHDL
The full collection of Wiley journals can be searched for and browsed from the Wiley toolbox where you can click on the link, Search
and browse all Wiley journal titles. Here you will find a table of 17 disciplines, the down-arrow will uncollapse the discipline to show related domain areas.
The 260 (and counting) journals were added to the PHDL because of their relevance to the vast information domains in public health. To maintain a focused public health collection, not all titles from Wiley will be added to the collection. Wiley journal articles can be found in PubMed or available by searching the PHDL Citation Matcher ; both tools will locate and access the journal regardless of whether it is directly included in the PHDL collection.
